Our Vineyard

In 2000 Steve and Betsy Moulds moved to a stunning property in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley, where they planted 11 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon and a small block of Cabernet Franc.  They committed themselves to producing high quality winegrapes. Emphasizing sustainability and community in everything they do, they have forged strong relationships with winemakers and their staff and believe in partnership and excellence in all that they do.

Sustainable Choices

Sustainability at Moulds Family Vineyard is important to our mission. We make every effort to preserve natural resources,  to protect wildlife and to sustain our ecosystem when farming. We provide beautiful scenic landscapes and utilize our land to the benefit of nature.  We strive to provide a favorable environment for our employees to work.

OKD Terroir

Located on the western bench in
Napa Valleys “sweet spot” of the Oak Knoll District Terroir, Moulds Family Vineyard experiences moderate temperatures year round allowing for the fruit to ripen slowly. OKD enjoys the longest growing season for Cabernet Sauvignon in Napa Valley, in part due to the marine influence of the San Pablo Bay. All this results in optimal growing conditions to produce spectacular wine grapes.
